I had my 6 month doctor visit yesterday. I am now 18 lbs and 27″ tall! I’m growing so big! Dr. Joslin said I’m in good health. I also had to get my shots, but they weren’t too bad. I was a bit groggy and fussy afterwards, but I seem to be feeling better today.
Dad also made me some spring peas for my first real meal. I had a few bites and I think I like them, but we’ll have to see when I eat again tonight. Dad seems so excited to see me eat real food!
I can also pretty much sit up on my own now. This morning when I went to daycare, Cindy was showing mommy how I could sit up (as long as I was holding onto something). Every-now-and-then I fall back, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’ve also discovered my hands more now and I like waving and admiring them. Fun!
