Today Claire and I met my good friend Sharron for brunch. Sharron is pregnant, and due October 22nd. It was great catching up with her and seeing her cute belly! Claire was a little crabby because it was supposed to be her nap time, so unfortunately we had to cut brunch a little short. It was still good to be able to catch up with her though and have mom and new mom-to-be talk.
I don’t think I realized until this weekend how exhausting “going going going” can be. We had so much scheduled for the trip, and I wasn’t thinking how it would all affect little Claire. She was such a trooper, but definitely needed her pacifier a lot.
After brunch we headed home so that we could try to take a quick nap before going over to my dad’s house. Claire wasn’t up for it, but I sure was!
We got to spend some great quality time with Claire’s Mema and Papa (Martha and my dad). They could’t believe how much she’d grown! We gave them a webcam for their birthday’s so that they could see her a bit more. She’s just growing up so quickly! We had a fun time hanging out with them and my dad taught me how to finally use my camera right so that I don’t miss all the “special moments” pictures. Finally! Yeah! We got some great pics with them too.

Papa gave Claire some water from a glass and they shared their toys with her.
They had some dinosaurs from other kids they watch (I think they scared little Claire a little).
They also had some cars that she loved.
It was a great family moment.
Claire and I were definitely exhausted by the end of the day and went to sleep early.
