We celebrated Jeff’s first father’s day this last weekend. It was a great day! I wanted Claire and I to make aprons for Jeff with her hand and footprints on them, but that was a bit harder to do than I thought. I put the paint on her feet and she went all over the place. So, change of plans. Instead I ironed on a cute picture of Claire and painted on “My Daddy, My Gourmet Chef.” It ended up turning out great, and Jeff was happy. So we went to church Sunday morning and they had a great service about dads. It was a beautiful day, so we went by Whole Foods and picked up some food and had a picnic at a Kirkland park right on Lake Washington. It was SO relaxing! We just hung out there for about an hour or so and then went for a short walk. Then we went home, and Claire and Jeff took a little nap together while I was able to take care of some cleaning and stuff. Such a great day!! Here’s some pics!
